    Sylvester Stallone (Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone) was born on July 6th, 1946 in New York City, New York, United States. An American actor, director, screenwriter, producer, and artist who is best known for creating and starring in the Rocky and Rambo film series, which made him an icon in the action genre.
    Due to labor complications of Stallone's mother, obstetricians used two pairs of forceps during his birth which accidentally severed a nerve and caused paralysis in parts of Stallone's face. The lower left side of his face is paralyzed including parts of his lip, tongue, and chin. An accident that gave him his signature look and slurred speech.

    In 1976 he played the boxer Rocky Balboa, which he wrote and directed. Rocky Balboa was named the 7th greatest movie hero by the American Film Institute, Rocky series (1976–2018) was a huge success. 

    Rocky is an underdog boxer that fights many brutal opponents and wins the world heavyweight championship twice. Stallone became a boxing promoter in the 1980s. This character is generally considered to be Stallone's most iconic role and is always considered the role that started his film career. He received critical reviews for his performance in the first movie, earning Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominations. Stallone became a boxing promoter in the 1980s. His boxing company, "Tiger Eye Productions", signed world champion boxers Sean O'Grady and Aaron Pryor.
