    Welcome to the official Film/Art Gallery collection of original Ken Loach vintage movie posters from his critically acclaimed catalog of timeless cinematic creations.

    English filmmaker Kenneth Charles Loach (born 17th of June, 1936) is a socially critical socialist visible in his films on social issues, such as poverty, as seen in Poor Cow (1967), homelessness, as seen in Cathy Come Home (1966), and workers labour rights, as seen in Riff-Raff (1991) and The Navigators (2001). His film Kes (1969) was voted as the seventh greatest British film of the 20th century and is based on the novel A Kestrel for a Knave by Barry Hines. His film The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) shows a political-historical drama about the Irish War of Independence during the 1920s.

    Loach had worked as a director for BBC Television for the film Up the Junction (1965) and In Two Minds (1967), written by David Mercer. During this period, he also directed The End of Arthur's Marriage and Days of Hope (1975) which is a four part drama for BBC and directed by Loach from scripts by dramatist Jim Allen.

    Loach's documentaries A Question of Leadership (1981) and Which Side Are You On? (1985) are about songs and poems of the UK miners' strike. In 2000, he directed Bread and Roses which focuses on the Los Angeles janitors strike. His film Looking for Eric (2009), with Eric Cantona, won the Magritte Award for Best Co-Production. He followed the film with The Route Irish (2010). Loach also won his second Palme d'Or for I, Daniel Blake (2016) and later awarded a BAFTA as an "Outstanding British Film" in 2017
