  • Francis Ford Coppola movie posters span from the defining crime epics of the 1970s through diverse directorial work, gathering original material from one of cinema's most influential American directors. No American director before or since has matched that concentration of critical and commercial success, and the theatrical campaigns from this period are correspondingly significant for collectors.

The Godfather (1972) and The Godfather Part II (1974) anchor the collection — Fujita's puppet-strings design for the first film and the richly atmospheric campagn materials for the sequel are among the most sought-after pieces in any American cinema collection. The Conversation (1974), Coppola's paranoid Watergate-era surveillance thriller, produced a smaller but equally compelling campaign. Apocalypse Now (1979) — three years in production, shot in the Philippines, shared the Palme d'Or at Cannes — generated a campaign commensurate with its extraordinary scale. Later work includes The Outsiders (1983), Rumble Fish (1983), Tucker: The Man and His Dream (1988), and Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992).

Available in US one-sheets, French grandes affiches, Italian foglio, British quads, and Japanese B2 formats. Condition runs Fine to Very Fine.
