Original Dallamano, Massimo Movie Posters
Massimo Dallamano movie posters — first as Sergio Leone's cinematographer on the Dollars Trilogy, then as giallo director in his own right — are among the most sought-after items in the Italian genre film poster market. Shop our Massimo Dallamano collection for original Italian campaign materials from What Have You Done to Solange? (1972), What Have They Done to Your Daughters? (1974), and related productions.
The 2-fogli for What Have You Done to Solange? is one of the stronger giallo poster designs of the early 1970s — photomontage artwork that captures the film's disturbing intersection of Catholic guilt and sexual violence in a composition that is immediately arresting. Italian fotobuste sets from his giallo productions are particularly prized: the format's ten photograph cards document the film's visual design in a way that static poster artwork cannot, and complete fine-condition sets for his major titles now surface rarely at specialist auction. The locandina — Italy's smaller display format at roughly 13×28 inches — offers the most practical collecting entry point and features the same campaign artwork as the 2-fogli in a more displayable size. German and British releases of his giallo films generated independent campaigns: German A1 versions often retitled the films, while British quad versions reflect the UK's strong appetite for Italian horror. His connection to the Dollars Trilogy gives the Solange 2-fogli crossover appeal for Leone collectors.
