    NOT A THEATRICAL RELEASE POSTER. The very first 'Star Wars' poster, with artwork by Howard Chaykin. This was printed in 1976 and sold for $1.75 at the San Diego Comic Con (July) and 'Mid-America Con' in Kansas City (Labor Day Weekend). The poster has been signed by Mark Hamill ("Forcefully Yours, Mark Hamill") and the artist (in bottom white border).

    Note: we believe the signatures are authentic, but do not guarantee that they are. We 100% guarantee that the poster is authentic and original. 

    Also: many examples of this poster have significant fading, but not this one. Although used with some wear, we have opted to offer the poster as-is. Linen-backing is recommended if the buyer wishes to display the piece
