Ultra-rare 1939 Roadshow first release one sheet Style DF, Armando Seguso artwork. This is ultimate GWTW 1 Sheet - one of five styles produced for the launch of the film in 1939 (one style was all text and the other four had different artwork), this is widely considered to have the best image and is the scarcest. After its premiere, it stayed in theaters for four years, and new posters were printed in for the wider/non-Roadshow release of the film that began in January 1941. Some of the newly printed posters were based on the original four 1 Sheet designs, but large blocks of text were overprinted on the artwork, to assure audiences that they were seeing the film as it had premiered: "Limited engagement.. Full length... Nothing cut except the price". Even those 1941 1 Sheets are scarce, but this poster is exceptionally hard to find.
