  • Andy Warhol In Person with Two Films

A great poster for a unique event. Invited to the University of St. Thomas in Houston by Dominique De Menil - the then-Chair of Art History at the school, whose family were legendary benefactors in the art world - Warhol brought his superstar Viva! and filmmaking collaborator Paul Morrissey for two evenings of screenings and discussion. The two films shown would appear to have been "Imitation of Christ" and "The Loves of Ondine"  - each of which had been edited from his 25 hour film "****", which was first shown in December of 1967.
