Jean Van Hearn is a writer, director, and producer. As a director, he has directed five films he also wrote, as well as helming “Documentary of a Madam” in 1971, with actors John Barnum, Marsha Jordan, and Chesley Noone.
The filmmaker is known for the film Eternal Summer in 1961, starring Gwen DeCastro as Kay Holden, Jeff Brown as Ed Holden, and Ron Corsi as Roy Gibson. Nymphs (Anonymous) was written and directed by Jean Van Hearn in 1968 and starred Laura Ellis, Stan Ellis, and Loie Lane as Nymph. The Hanging of Jack Ellis came out in 1969 and features actors Charles Napier as Jake Ellis, Bambi Allen as Isabel, and Don Angelo as Henchman. Love Me Like I Do of 1970 features Peter Carpenter as Bill Sloane, Dyanne Thorne as Sharon Sloane, and Paul Fleming as Keith Hunter. The House Near the Prado has a cast that includes Charles Napier, Marsha Jordan, and Guy Anthony. In 1972 Jean Van Hearn became known for Did Baby Shoot Her Sugardaddy? a comedy-crime film starring Vincent Barbi, Cyrill Davidson, and Bobby Drake.
