  • The Matrix movie posters from the Wachowskis' 1999 science fiction revolution rank among the most visually distinctive items in modern cinema collecting. Keanu Reeves's Neo, in long black coat and mirrored glasses against cascading green code, became one of the defining images of millennial popular culture.

Warner Bros.' campaign for the original Matrix deployed a sleek, high-contrast visual identity: green digital rain, black leather, photographic cropping that emphasized the film's action geometry. Advance one-sheets use the character silhouette against the code cascade; regular-release materials deploy the full cast — Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss — in the film's signature black-and-green color palette. The sequels, The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2003), generated their own distinct campaigns — grander in scale, more operatic in imagery, slightly more conventional in design. All three films are represented in the collection. The Matrix Resurrections (2021), directed by Lana Wachowski alone, added a fourth film and its own campaign materials. International materials from the UK, France, Italy, Germany, and Japan add further variants across all four films.

Available in US one-sheets (27×41), British quads (30×40), French grandes affiches, Italian foglio, Japanese B2s, and lobby card sets. Condition runs Fine to Very Fine throughout. Original US one-sheets from the 1999 Warner Bros. release are now scarce in fine condition and seldom appear unfolded.
