  • Steven Spielberg movie posters span from early thriller work through some of cinema's most commercially dominant productions, gathering original material from a director who defined modern blockbuster filmmaking. Film/Art Gallery carries original prints from Duel (1971) through his most recent features, documenting the full arc of a career that has shaped popular cinema more than any other.

The foundational films define the collection. Jaws (1975) invented the summer blockbuster and produced some of the most viscerally effective movie poster art of the decade — Roger Kastel's advance one-sheet, with the shark rising beneath the swimmer, is a masterpiece of implied terror. Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), and Jurassic Park (1993) each generated iconic campaigns that remain instantly recognizable forty-plus years later. Schindler's List (1993) and Saving Private Ryan (1998) demonstrate the other side of his range: restrained, somber campaigns for films of moral weight. A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001), Minority Report (2002), and Munich (2005) add further phases to a body of work that has consistently redefined mainstream Hollywood since the mid-1970s.

Available in US one-sheets, British quads, French grandes affiches, Japanese B2s, Italian foglio, and lobby card sets. Condition runs Fine to Very Fine throughout. Original theatrical paper from his peak period — Jaws, Raiders, E.T. — is increasingly difficult to find in fine condition.

Find original theatrical paper alongside Jaws posters, Indiana Jones posters, and George Lucas posters. All Film/Art Gallery movie posters and items are authenticated originals.
