    Star Wars movie posters document the franchise that transformed blockbuster cinema, featuring original theatrical releases from the 1977 premiere through the 1980s sequels — among the most recognizable designs in film history. Film/Art Gallery carries 326 original prints spanning all 11 films — from the first domestic release of Episode IV: A New Hope in 1977 through The Rise of Skywalker (2019) — making this the most complete collection of authentic Star Wars poster art available from any single gallery.

    The original trilogy is the collecting focal point. Tom Jung's US one-sheet for A New Hope — Luke's lightsaber raised, Darth Vader looming above, Leia in profile — is among the most recognized images in poster history. Tom Chantrell's UK quad for the same film deploys an entirely different composition and is equally prized. The Empire Strikes Back (1980) is represented by multiple variants including Roger Kastel's romantic Han-and-Leia painting; Kastel also painted the iconic Jaws advance one-sheet. Japanese originals by Kazuhiko Sano and Josh Kirby's UK interpretations complete a picture of how international markets approached the same film with dramatically different graphic approaches.
