Welcome to the official Film/Art Gallery collection of original Lawrence Schiller vintage movie posters from his critically acclaimed catalog of timeless cinematic creations.

American film director, screenwriter, photojournalist, and producer Lawrence Julian Schiller was born in December 28, 1936 and has published 17 books, including LSD in 1966, The Fire Next Time (1963) by James Baldwin, Eugene Smith's book Minamata, and Norman Mailer's Marilyn. He produced and directed the 1967 album Why Did Lenny Bruce Die by Capitol Records. He collaborated with Albert Goldman on Ladies and Gentleman--Lenny Bruce in 1974, on the 1980 New York Times bestseller The Executioner's Song, and on Oswald's Tale in 1995. His national bestselling books have won five Emmys and were turned into mini-series: Perfect Murder, based on JonBenet Ramsey murder case, Perfect Town, and Into the Mirror.

Schiller showed never before seen photographs of Marilyn Monore in the U.S. exhibition Marilyn Monroe and American in the 1960s in 2007, and he was named senior advisor and managing director to the Norman Mailer Estate in 2008, which he created with Norris Church Mailer. He collaborated with O.J Simpson on the book I Want to Tell You, following his acquittal on his wife’s murder. He co-wrote with journalist Jim Willwerth on American Tragedy: The Uncensored Story of the Simpson Defense with researcher Dan Whitcomb.

He now represents the Jacques Lowe Estate of the Kennedy family and Lisl Steiner photographic archives. He also curated the Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. exhibition for New York Historical Society in 2018 and managed the 2020 Centennial of Ray Bradbury. He is living in Newtown, Pennsylvania with his wife Mayo Clinic Press Editor in Chief Nina Wiener.
