  • Welcome to the official Film/Art Gallery collection of original Allen Reisner vintage movie posters from his critically acclaimed catalog of timeless cinematic creations.

Born on February 12, 1924 in New York City, Allen Reisner or Abraham Isaac Reisner was a TV director and actor, who is noted for his mini-series Captains and the Kings (1976). He is also known for The Twilight Zone (1959), which is about a place that exists at any moment of time, of space, or of mind, written by Bryan Ells.

Reisner directed episode of Shirley Temple's Storybook (1958), an American children's anthology series with stars Pernell Roberts and Agnes Moorehead, hosted and narrated by actress Shirley Temple. The series of fairy tales features adaptations performed by well-known actors, just like the episode based on Nathaniel Hawthorne's 1851 novel The House of the Seven Gables. He also directed a few episodes for the show Mannix (1968-69), a Los Angeles private investigator Joe Mannix, who first worked for Intertect relying on computers and large network of operatives. Each episode featured fistfights, car chases, and shoot-outs with guest, starring Robert Reed using the entry way set from The Brady Bunch (1969). The film worked originally for Wickersham, assisted by Peggy Fair with creators Bruce Geller, Richard Levinson, and William Link, with Mike Connors, Gail Fisher, and Ward Wood. His Rags-to-riches tale was about an Irish immigrant in late 1800s, starring Richard Jordan, Harvey Jason, and Patty Duke.

He was married to Kathy Carlyle, an actress known for The Pusher (1960), When Hell Broke Loose (1958), and Brenner (1959). Reisner died in Beverly Hills, California, USA on April 8, 2004 at the age of 80.
