Original Vintage Movie Posters @ Film/Art Gallery

Welcome to the official Film/Art Gallery collection of Lesbian vintage movie posters, where we offer a wide range of artwork for cinema's ultimate documentary and drama film series.

Included are posters of the movie Word Is Out: Stories of Some of Our Lives, a 1977 documentary film featuring interviews of 26 gay men and women on various topics, like their personal relationships, bigotry, stereotyping, and how coming out changed their lives. The participants include former U.S militaries, white collar workers, factory laborers, a transvestite performer, and a filmmaker. From young adults to senior citizens, they embody many races, ethnicities, and economic backgrounds. It was directed by the Mariposa Film Group.

Also featured are posters from the 1962 film Walk on the Wild Side, an American drama directed by Edward Dmytryk. It stars Laurence Harvey, Jane Fonda, Capucine, Barbara Stanwyck, and Anne Baxter. It is about a penniless farmer who searches for his former girlfriend, an artist who now works in a brothel in New Orleans.

The collection also showcases posters from the 1980 film Times Square. The story encompasses two teen-age runaway girls (Trini Alvarado, Robin Johnson), an overnight New York disc jockey, and the people of New York Times Square.

Film/Art Gallery's Lesbian movie poster collection also includes posters from other films. Included is a 1 Sheet (27x41) Spanish poster for the cult horror/sexploitation movie Vampyros Lesbos, directed by Jess Franco. Also includes a 1 Sheet (27x41) poster of the Ridley Scott film Thelma and Louise, starring Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis. The Lesbian poster collection also includes a 6 Sheet (81x81) poster of the lesbian-themed drama The Killing of Sister George, directed by Robert Aldrich.
