Welcome to the official Film/Art Gallery collection of original Richard Kanter vintage movie posters from his critically acclaimed catalog of timeless cinematic contributions.
Richard Kanter was a noted screenwriter and film director for his crime thriller film Wild Riders (1971), an original story by Sal Comstock starring Alex Rocco, Elizabeth Knowles, and Sherry Bain; the film depicts juvenile delinquents Pete and Stick who break into a luxury house, rape two women, and kill a curious neighbor showing ingenious exploitation and drama for poor women.
He was the writer and director for Thar She Blows! (1968), about a sea-crazed wealthy industrialist who hires a pimp to bring some women after his vessel is commissioned, starring Shari Mann, Steve Vincent, and Chris Mathis. Kanter worked with Director Erwin C. Dietrich for The Ribald Tales of Robin Hood (1969), which highlights a lengthy torture scene in an attempt to outdo Lee Frost and even manages to engender emotions amongst the characters. In the same year, he worked on the drama film Starlet, about two seedy producers making a former stag-film actress, starring Shari Mann, Dee Lockwood, and Stuart Lancaster. It was followed by The Young Secretaries (1974), about an advertising agency that employs attractive young women.
Kanter later directed the comedy-fiction film Le dolci intimità di Annette (1977), translating to Desires With Young Girls, written by Harold Lime and featuring stars Maddy Stone (Georgina Spelvin), Cissy (Annette Haven), and Penny (Clair Dia), among others. The story defines a mother who wants her daughters to have a well-off life by helping them find rich husbands. In 1978, he added to his crafts by directing Untamed and Sensual Encounters of Every Kind.
