  • Welcome to the official Film/Art Gallery collection of original Julie Andrews vintage movie posters from her critically acclaimed catalog of timeless cinematic performances.

Julia Elizabeth Wells or Dame Julie Andrews DBE (born October 1st, 1935), is an English actress, singer, and author also known as "Britain's youngest prima donna". At the age of 13, she became the youngest solo performer ever to be seen in 1948 Royal Command Variety Performance. Her film debut in Mary Poppins (1964) won the Academy Award for Best Actress.

Julie Andrews played Maria von Trapp in The Sound of Music (1965), and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. She subsequently hosted TV variety series but was forced to quit in 1997 when she developed hoarseness in her voice. Despite the loss of her singing voice, she appeared on stage for Dr. Dolittle in London, starred in The Princess Diaries (2001) with Anne Hathaway. The classic actress reprised her role as Queen Clarisse Renaldi in The Princess Diaries 2 and also performed voice roles in Disney movies.

Andrews has won three Grammys, two Emmys, and the AFI Life Achievement Award, published two autobiographies and served as the Official Ambassador for Disneyland's anniversary celebration from 2005 to 2006. She was named on The Times' list of the top 10 British Actresses of all time in 2009.

At the age of 77, she undertook her first tour of Australia and New Zealand in 2013 as well as voicing the character of Karathen in the DC Comic superhero blockbuster Aquaman (2018). In her personal life, Andrews has been married twice to designer Tony Walton from 1959 until 1967, then to director Blake Edwards from 1969 until his death in 2010.

Film/Art Gallery’s collection of original Julie Andrews movie posters include a Howard Terpning artwork (Roadshow/pre-Oscar style) for blockbuster musical, Sound of Music. Also included in the Julie Andrews poster collection is a John Alvin artwork for the Blake Edwards hit starring Julie Andrews, Dudley Moore, and Bo Derek.

Film/Art Gallery movie posters are original prints and film poster collectibles. These are original movie posters. We do not carry any movie poster reproductions or reprints of any kind.
