Original Day Of The Dead Movie Posters
Day of the Dead movie posters from George Romero's 1985 conclusion to his Living Dead trilogy are among the most visually extreme horror campaign materials of the decade — authentic original prints for the United Film Distribution Company release that pushed the franchise to its bleakest and most graphically intense point. Shop our Day of the Dead collection for original one-sheets, lobby cards, and international variants.
The original 1985 US one-sheet featuring the zombie hands erupting from the burial ground — a Tom Savini practical-effects showcase translated directly into the campaign artwork — is now genuinely scarce in fine flat unfolded condition. The film's considerably smaller production scale relative to Dawn of the Dead resulted in a correspondingly more modest promotional campaign, and the lower print run has made genuine first-release US one-sheets harder to source than the 1978 film's materials. British quad versions feature a different compositional approach from the US vertical and are the preferred format for UK horror collectors. Italian release materials — this being a Romero film with particular resonance in the same market that had produced Dario Argento's Zombi cut of Dawn — generated 2-fogli and fotobuste sets with independent visual approaches that complement the US campaign. German A1 versions and Spanish grandes complete the international campaign picture.
