  • Clint Eastwood movie posters document both his acting and directorial careers, gathering original material from Spaghetti Westerns through Oscar-winning dramatic productions across four decades. Eastwood's theatrical campaigns span six decades, with the Italian-produced Leone materials and the early Warner Bros. Westerns being the most historically significant and most actively collected.

The Leone trilogy is the cornerstone: A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965), and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966). Italian foglio originals from these productions represent some of the finest poster art of the 1960s — bold, graphic, and infused with the operatic visual sensibility Leone brought to every element of his productions. US release materials were produced separately by United Artists for the American market and carry different aesthetic qualities. Dirty Harry (1971) gave Eastwood his most iconic contemporary role; The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976), Escape from Alcatraz (1979), and Unforgiven (1992) extend the range into serious dramatic work. His directing career — from Play Misty for Me (1971) through Million Dollar Baby (2004) — generated its own equally collectible campaigns.

Available in US one-sheets, Italian foglio, French grandes affiches, German A1s, British quads, and lobby card sets. Condition runs Fine to Very Fine. Original Italian fotobusta sets and French grandes from his Leone period are scarce and seldom appear in the open market.
