Welcome to the official Film/Art Gallery collection of original Saturday Night Fever vintage movie posters, where we offer a wide range of artwork for cinema's ultimate disco musical film.

Saturday Night Fever is a 1977 American dance drama film directed by John Badham. The film is led by John Travolta as Tony Manero, a youthful man who spends his weekends dancing and drinking at a nearby Brooklyn discothèque; Karen Lynn Gorney as Stephanie Mangano, his dance partner and inevitable confidante; and Donna Pescow as Annette, Tony's former dance accomplice, and would-be sweetheart. In the disco, Tony is the champion dancer. His circle of companions and weekends dancing helps him to manage the realities of his life: a dead-end work, clashes with his unsupportive and quarreling parents, racial pressures within the neighborhood community, and his general restlessness.

The story is based on a 1976 New York magazine article by Nik Cohn, a British writer of "Tribal Rites of the New Saturday Night"; in the mid-1990s, Cohn acknowledged that he fabricated the article. A newcomer to the United States of America and a stranger to the disco lifestyle, Cohn was not able to make any sense of the subculture he had been assigned to write; instead, the character who became Tony Manero was based on an English mod acquaintance of Cohn.

Saturday Night Fever was a massive success and had a marvelous effect on the popular culture of the late 1970s. The film significantly helped to promote disco music all over the world and made Travolta well recognized.
