Welcome to the official Film/Art Gallery collection of original Rita Hayworth vintage movie posters from her critically acclaimed catalog of timeless cinematic performances.

Margarita Carmen "Rita" Hayworth was an American actress and dancer born on October 17, 1918 – May 14, 1987. She appeared in 61 films over 37 years and achieved fame during the 1940s as one of the era's top stars. She was coined the term "The Love Goddess" by the press, to describe Hayworth after she had become the most glamorous screen idol of the 1940s.

In 1946, Hayworth is perhaps best known for her performance film noir Gilda. Hayworth also starred in Only Angels Have Wings (1939), The Lady from Shanghai (1947), Pal Joey (1957), and Separate Tables (1958). She made two films with Fred Astaire, You'll Never Get Rich (1941), and You Were Never Lovelier (1942), who called her his favorite dance partner. She also starred with Gene Kelly in the Technicolor musical Cover Girl (1944). American Film Institute's survey listed her as one of the top 25 female motion picture stars of all time.
Hayworth was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 1980, which contributed to her death at age 68. The public disclosure and discussion of her illness drew attention to Alzheimer's, which was largely unknown by most people at the time, and helped to increase public and private funding for Alzheimer's research.

Film/Art Gallery’s Rita Hayworth movie poster collection includes works from French re-release of her signature performance in 1946 Film Noir, artwork by Boris Grinsson, and Rita Hayworth poster of 1957 musical starring Kim Novak and Frank Sinatra.

Film/Art Gallery movie posters are original prints and film poster collectibles. These are original movie posters. We do not carry any movie poster reproductions or reprints of any kind.
