Harry Kerwin was a director and actor, known for God's Bloody Acre in 1975, written by Wayne Crawford and Robert Woodburn. The film stars Wayne Crawford as David, Jennifer Stock as Leslie, Sam Moree as Benny, Daniel Schweitzer as Ezra, William Kerwin as Monroe, Suzanne Robinson as Carol Rizzo, and Robert Rosano as Robert Rizzo. The film is about the three mountain-men brothers living in an uninhabited forest area who love their simple lifestyle. When a construction crew come out to clear the way for the park, the siblings are prepared to stop them to defend their lifestyle, even if it means murder.

Kerwin is also known for Barracuda, an American horror/thriller film in 1978, written by Wayne Crawford and Kerwin. The movie is about a little coastal town in Florida being terrorized by deadly Barracudas. The main stars of the movie are Wayne Crawford as Mike Canfield, Jason Evers playing Dr. Elliot Snow, Roberta Leighton portraying Liza Williams, William Kerwin as Sheriff Ben Williams, Cliff Emmich as Deputy Lester, and Bert Freed as Papa Jack. The movie was released on VHS on December 7, 1989 by Uav Corporation and on DVD by Dark Sky Films on September 30, 2008.

Harry Kerwin was also known for the film Cheering Section in 1977, about a highschool football star who tries to romance the new girl at the school who happens to be his coach’s daughter. The film was written by Wayne Crawford. The movie stars Rhonda Fox as Melanie Jackson, Tom Leindecker as Corey Pearson, Patricia Michelle as Terry, Kim Jack as Helen, Greg D’Jah as Jeff, Jeff Laine as Sam, Karyn Wagner as Jill Talbot, Scott Blynne as Scott, W.G. Galivan as Ricl, Lance Kerwin as Bob.

He was born on June 15, 1930 in San Diego, California, as Harry Edward Kerwin. He married to Laura Wood in 1970 and divorced in 1975. He died on June 2, 1979 in Los Angeles, CA, due to lung cancer.
