This is a rare test print of Saul Bass' unused design for Spielberg's film, printed on newsprint stock to evaluate its impact in newspaper ads.
Steven Spielberg commissioned Saul to create a poster for the harrowing, Oscar-winning Holocaust drama Schindler's List. This was one of two final designs that Saul submitted, and it was printed in limited quantities. The studio ultimately chose a completely different design by another artist.
