Welcome to the official Film/Art Gallery collection of original Ugo Liberatore vintage movie posters from his critically acclaimed catalog of timeless cinematic creations.

Born on September 26, 1927, in San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore, Abruzzo, Italy, Ugo Liberatore is a director and a writer, known for Bora Bora (1968), May Morning, and Bali (1970).

The film Bora Bora centers around Marita (Haydée Politoff) and Roberto (Corrado Pani), an estranged married couple who had reconcile their differences in the sensual surroundings of the Tahitian island. Fed-up with his philanderer husband, she disappears during a vacation in Bora Bora and finds true romance and sexual fulfillment with a fisherman, while her husband cynically beds down any girl. The film stars Doris Kunstmann (Susanne), Giovanni Ivan Scratuglia (Man in the Ferry), Rosine Copie (Tehina), and Antoine Coco Puputauki (Mani). The film shows hints of glasnost and the usual racism cue a most unsatisfying anti-climax and dull ending which shows Ugo's attempt at significance with a lovely location photography (Society Islands shoot) by Leonida Barboni.

Ugo’s May Morning (1970) is a dramatic and penetrating examination of the intellectual and moral standards existing at Oxford University, England, in the early 1970s, starring Jane Birkin (Flora Finlake), Alessio Orano (Valerio Montelli), John Steiner (Roderick Stanton), and Rossella Falk (Mrs. Finlake). Glenn and Carlo, for the 1970 film Bali, had worked on writing a photo book on the beautiful island, influenced by the magical rituals of the place and Hinduism. The cast includes John Steiner (Glenn), Laura Antonelli (Daria), Umberto Orsini (Carlo), with directors Paolo Heusch and Usmar Ismail, and writers Fulvio Gicca Palli and Pier Giuseppe Murgia (story).

Film/Art Gallery’s collection of original Ugo Liberatore movie posters include an Insert (14x36) of the obscure drug-themed sexploitation movie Sex of Angels. Also included in the collection is an Italian 4 foglio (55x78) of Liberatore.
