Welcome to the official Film/Art Gallery collection of original Ted Kotcheff vintage movie posters from his critically acclaimed catalog of timeless cinematic contributions.

William Theodore Kotcheff (born April 7, 1931) is a Canadian film producer and television director, famous for his Armchair Theatre anthology series and his first feature film, Tiara Tahiti (1962). Some of his successful films include Life at the Top (1965), Two Gentlemen Sharing (1969), The Human Voice (1967) starring Ingrid Bergman by Jean Cocteau, TV remakes of The Desperate Hours (1967), and Of Mice and Men (1968). He did the Vietnam-themed action movie the Uncommon Valor (1983) and comedies, like Weekend at Bernie's (1989), Fun with Dick and Jane (1977), and North Dallas Forty (1979).

Kotcheff directed a Canadian film, Split Image (1982), and then had his biggest success with the Sylvester Stallone original Rambo series First Blood (1982). He then returned to Canada to make Joshua Then and Now (1985), from the novel by Mordecai Richler. Kotcheff directed the Australian film Wake in Fright (1971) and was Australia's entry at the Cannes Film Festival (with a fully restored version in 2009). He returned to direct Edna, the Inebriate Woman (1971), for the BBC anthology series Play for Today, which won him a British Academy Television Award for Best Director.

In 2013, he was invited to the Film Forum in New York City for a re-release of his film The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz (1974). He served on the Board of Directors of the Macedonian Arts Council. Kotcheff received the Independent Publisher Book Awards in Performing Arts (Silver) for his Director's Cut: My Life in Film. Kotcheff lives in Beverly Hills with his wife Laifun and children.
