  • Welcome to the official Film/Art Gallery collection of original What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? vintage movie posters, where we offer a wide range of artwork for cinema's ultimate horror thriller film.

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (based on a novel by Henry Farrell) is a horror-thriller released in 1962. The psychological film stars Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. The film’s director was Robert Aldrich and the writer was Lukas Heller.

The film centers on the troubled relationship between two sisters, a former actress Jane Hudson (Bette Davis) who torments and keeps her paraplegic ex-movie star sister, Blanche (Joan Crawford) captive in their old Hollywood mansion. It’s a film that tackles extreme jealousy and mental illness.

Blanche conspires to get even with Jane for the car crash that left her disabled years earlier. But Jane is hopeless to keep Blanche imprisoned as she tries to keep Blanche from doctors, visitors, and neighbors.

Davis and Crawford’s Hollywood notoriety was heavily important to the film's success. This in part led to the rebirth of the careers of the two stars.

Upon the film's release, it was a box office success. Critically acclaimed, it was later nominated for five Academy Awards and won one for Best Costume Design, Black and White.

Film/Art Gallery's What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? movie poster collection includes a poster artwork is by "Ray" (Raymond Elseviers).

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? posters are also found in the Horror thriller collection which includes circa 1950's re-release poster for the classic 1931 Universal original, Frankenstein. It also features Saul Bass artwork for Kubrick's adaptation of Stephen King's novel, The Shining.
